Pikai Winchester did a really god job during the innings, but the main event of the game was 2nd baseman
Tanner Tokunaga hitting 2 homeruns for the team against Matamoros' pitcher
Sergio Rodriguez.

Iolana Akau also scored a homerun and made an incredible diving catch despite of his left elbow fracture. Starting pictcher and Filipino-American
Caleb Duhay made
51/3 strikeout pitches for the win.

Considered one of the underdog of all Little League teams, the Waipahu team did their best and played with thier heads up.
